Le Millin is a bar, coffee shop and restaurant.
It has a soft and warm atmosphere whilst being meters away from the sea. You can have cold or hot drinks and enjoy them in the sun, on the terrace or by the warmth of the fireplace.
You can eat at any time, thanks to our pots, offering starters, main courses and desserts for all tastes. A vitamin-rich breakfast is served in the morning.
With friends or family, challenge yourself to our board games.
Events are held throughout the year. Follow us on our social media to keep up to date with all our activities.
The Millin is also a place where local artists can exhibit their work, and many works of art are available for purchase. Like our wooden surfboard.
A Mix, A Concept.
Since June 2021, our bar/café le Millin has opened its doors. We created the Millin to provide a warm and friendly place to exchange and share.
Next door to Surfing Locquirec, the Millin is ideally located at the Moulin de la rive.
Surfers, come and relax on the terrace to share your best waves. You don’t surf? Our team organizes various events for all ages all year round.
A Breton menu with our Breizh sodas and Armoria draught beers. Le Millin offers you a continuous catering service thanks to its jars made by the chefs’ canteen with numerous recipes that will delight you.
To spend a moment with your friends and family or to meet new people, a dart board is freely available, as well as board games. You also have unlimited and free access to wifi.
The Millin is a performance venue for local artists, with concerts of all kinds. You can also find sharing animations, giant wooden games and multiple tournaments (darts, shuffleboard…). But also body art with Orsolya and film projections.
And finally, the Millin is an exhibition place, you can’t miss our wooden surfboard, but also various illustrations, paintings, photographs. Find all our artists in the « Millin’s actors » section or on our social networks
A unique place
What would Millin be without the many people who work and have worked there?
Where does the warm atmosphere come from? The atmosphere that radiates from Le Millin was imagined by Anne-Laure, architect for Mesk Intérieur. She worked on the project for a year to create an original space by integrating custom-made elements such as the bar and the bench. The furniture and decoration are a mix of textures, including wallpaper, a redwood and marble table and wicker chairs.
Yves de Orestis, our graphic designer for the surf school and the Millin is also one of our exhibitors and displays black and white pictures.
Finally, Alan who makes us nice boards, innovative, he creates custom and alternative boards, made of wood. The boards are for exhibitions, but also for surfing, of course!
What we love at Le Millin are our drinks, our coffee and our draught beers which come from Cozigou, a Breton company!
For our pots, it’s the chefs’ canteen that takes care of them, their recipes are imagined and cooked by a starred chef and his team.
In the morning, our pastries come fresh from Le Petit Pâtissier, pastries and muffins 100% organic and from Locquirec!
